The app itself
Steady Paws is licensed to you under Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which applies to apps downloaded from the App Store. These terms cover the things that agreement doesn't: the online leaderboard and how we expect it to be used.
Community standards
The leaderboard is a public space shared with everyone who plays. When you choose a display name, don't use:
- Slurs, hate speech, or content attacking people for who they are
- Sexual or graphic content
- Harassment of, or impersonation of, another person
- Anything that would be illegal to publish
Names are filtered automatically, and players can report any name they see. We hide names that break these rules, and we may remove a player's ability to appear on the leaderboard. We don't pretend the filter is perfect — reporting is how the rest gets caught.
Purchases
Steady Paws is free to play with ads shown between runs. Remove Ads is a one-time in-app purchase that turns them off permanently for that Apple Account. You can restore it on a new device from Settings → Restore purchases.
All purchases are handled by Apple. Refunds are Apple's to give — request one through reportaproblem.apple.com, not through us, because we have no way to issue them.
Your data
What we store and how to delete it is set out in the privacy policy. You can delete everything from inside the app at any time, without asking us.
The honest disclaimer
Steady Paws is a small game made by a small studio. We work to keep the leaderboard up and the game working, but we can't promise it will never be down, and scores can be lost to bugs, outages or moderation. The game is provided as-is.
Changes
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. Continuing to use the leaderboard after a change means the new terms apply.
