Steady Paws does not ask for your name, email address, phone number or location, and does not track you across other apps or websites. The only information that leaves your device is what the online leaderboard needs in order to rank you: a display name you choose yourself, and your best scores. You can delete all of it from inside the app at any time.
What we collect

What we do not collect
- No name, email address, phone number or postal address
- No location data of any kind
- No contacts, photos, calendar, health or device sensors
- No cross-app or cross-site tracking
- No analytics or behavioural profiling
Stored only on your device
Your settings (sound, haptics, reduce motion) and your personal best are kept on your device and are never sent anywhere. Deleting the app removes them.
Who else sees your data
- Supabase hosts our database and processes the data above on our behalf.
- Apple provides the App Store and TestFlight. If you install a beta, Apple's own terms apply.
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
Public information
Your display name and your scores appear on a leaderboard visible to everyone who plays the game. Please do not choose a display name you would not want shown publicly.
If you see a name that is offensive, use the Report control next to it in the leaderboard. That hides the name from your own view immediately, and flags it for us to review and hide for everyone.
Deleting your data
In the app: Settings → Delete my data. This permanently removes your display name, your leaderboard entries and your anonymous account from our server. It cannot be undone. The game keeps working afterwards — your next run simply starts you fresh.

Children
Steady Paws is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Because the only personal information involved is a self-chosen display name, a child using the app is not identifiable to us. If you believe a child has entered identifying information as a display name, email us and we will remove it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
